Michael McDonald brings a rare combination of hands-on restaurant experience, business leadership, and high-level professional sports experience to We Sell Restaurants as a Certified Restaurant Broker®.

Before entering brokerage, Michael worked nearly every role in a restaurant, from front-of-house to management, learning the business from the ground up. That hands-on experience built his foundation: connecting with people, performing under pressure, solving problems on the fly, and understanding what actually makes a hospitality business run day to day.

Michael also built a career in collegiate and professional baseball, working in coaching, scouting, analytics, player development, and operations for organizations including the St. Louis Cardinals and Toronto Blue Jays. His career was highlighted by helping the Toros de Tijuana capture the 2021 Mexican League Championship.

Across both industries, Michael's career has been defined by preparation, relationships, and results. He's worked with owners, athletes, coaches, executives, and customers from every kind of background, giving him the ability to communicate clearly, earn trust, and understand what matters most to the people he serves.
